About Me

George Bernard Shaw could not be more right when he said, “There is no love sincerer than the love of Food”. My sentiments exactly.

For those of us who worship all things edible, a day has so many high-points! First breakfast, then lunch, then intermediate snacking (lots of it), then dinner and the best – the mighty midnight snack. It is so much easier to cheer us up, isn’t it? One amply iced cupcake is all it takes (with some sprinkles on top, of course).

Through good days or bad, through happy or sad, through sober or mad, Food has been the perfect therapy for me. Even at home, all my vacant time is spent watching travel and Food shows till somebody wrestles the remote out of my hand.

This blog is a shy attempt at making you a part of my crazy love for Food. I cook for my family, I cook for my friends and the dream is to cook for the world! Because where there is no hunger, there is love. So help me spread the love – cook, share, devour and don’t forget to raise a toast to yourselves (this one is dedicated to you, fellow foodies and nomsters)!

P.S.- Some of you ‘Grammar Nazis’ must be tut-tutting seeing ‘Food’ spelt everywhere with a capital ‘F’. In my defence , you know how you spell ‘God’ with a capital ‘G’? Yes, that.
